WELCOME TO

THRESHOLDS THERAPY

Promoting greater well-being, vitality, healing, growth, resiliency, and self-actualization.

This process of being and becoming that we engage with as humans can simultaneously be both beautiful and incredibly challenging. The decision to take part in therapy can begin a transformative process that allows you to develop greater insight as well as ignite necessary behavioral changes. This in turn can help promote greater well-being, vitality, healing, growth, resiliency, and self-actualization.

There is perhaps no greater gift to give yourself than to invest in a process of self-exploration. Such exploration will better enable you to develop a deeper connection with your authentic self so that you may reach your optimal potential.

Ultimately, engaging in therapy can be an empowered step toward claiming a life that feels more fulfilling, intentional and aligned with your goals. In turn, there is no greater honor for me than to get to share a part of your journey.

Therapy Approach & Process

Etymology

The late Irish poet, philosopher, and author John O’Donohue referenced thresholds in describing the process of moving from one experience to another. (The etymology of the word ‘threshold’ comes from ‘threshing’, which is to separate the grain from the husk). He spoke of crossing into new ways of being, and of what it means to end one thing and begin another, and ultimately, what it means to trust in the possibility that each new threshold offers. (Thresholds are ultimately the place where you move into more critical, challenging and worthy fullness.)

There are significant thresholds in every life. Whether you are going through a change or are feeling a change is needed, therapy can be helpful. The more awareness you access of the change that is occurring or that is beckoning you to make, the better equipped you will be to move forward through these changes with a sense of presence, clarity, empowerment and peace. We can benefit from having support during these times of personal changes or threshold crossing to avoid getting “stuck” or lost, or returning to familiar ways.

Whatever “threshold” you find yourself at as you’ve taken this step, I would love to accompany you on your journey and help make it a peaceful passage.
